I'm based in Castle Douglas, Dumfries and Galloway. I'm a qualified mountaineering instructor (WMCI) and can guide and instruct scrambling, rock climbing, winter mountaineeringand ski-mountaineering in Galloway and at venues throughout Scotland and northern England. In the past I've run climbing sessions and mountaineering courses for individuals and groups, including couples, families, groups of friends, schools. I've also worked in the past with the UK military, TV programs such as Grand Designs, Mountain Rescue Teams and climbing clubs.

As well as working on the hills and crags of Galloway where I live, I have worked in the mountains and cliffs of Skye, The Cairngorms, Ben Nevis, Glencoe, Ben Lawers, The Lake District, Northumberland and North Wales.
